Keanan Eksteen

Keanan picked up his first instrument at the age of 11, and that early spark has carried him — and the band — to national radio play, international stages, and sold-out shows, with 13 songs on national radio and four number one singles. In 2021, Keanan released his debut single, "Dixie Clouds," which went straight to number one on radio. He followed this with "Sing With Me," a collaboration with Goldfish, celebrated with two sold-out shows alongside them at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. He then released "Golden Fever" and took the band on five European tours, headlining festivals in Germany and Hungary and sharing stages with the likes of Jeremy Loops, Jack Parow, Matthew Mole, Mojozi, Francois van Coke, and Arno Carstens. Most recently, Keanan released Starring, his third body of work, debuted on vinyl at a launch event held at Rooftop on Bree in Cape Town — a milestone celebration of his evolution as an artist. With a growing catalogue, a devoted following, and a relentless touring schedule at home and abroad, Keanan Eksteen Live continues to cement its place as a standout force in South African rock and roll.

Armand "ADV" de Vries

Armand "ADV" de Vries is an all-round musician and producer, ripping lead guitar, holding down the drums, singing, or locked away in the studio writing for himself and other artists — earning a reputation as a true musical Swiss Army knife: a master of multiple disciplines rather than a specialist in just one. Within Keanan Eksteen Live, he plays both guitar and drums depending on the band's setup for a given show, while also contributing backing vocals, and has completed four European tours with the band. Beyond Keanan Eksteen, Armand is a core member of the Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute band, plays bass for South African artist Elandré, and works as an accomplished producer — recently placing in the top 40 of a national songwriting competition.
